Paje E. Felts, Indianapolis, born in Terre Haute, is the legislative counsel at the Indiana State Bar Association. She earned her undergraduate degree in journalism from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College. She is also a graduate of the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown University. Paje worked as a campus minister for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Terre Haute before starting her legal career. She received her J.D. from the I.U. Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1991.
After law school, Paje served as an attorney and legislative liaison for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, where she was named a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash Award by Gov. Evan Bayh. During the early part of her career at the ISBA, she was also responsible for public relations and public affairs initiatives. She received the National Association of Bar Executives Luminary Award for excellence in public relations.
Paje is married to Chris P. Felts, a partner at Barnes & Thornburg. Their greatest accomplishments are their five children.
