Indiana State Bar Association announces 2016-17 board officers, new members

 

INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 5, 2016) – In late September, Mitchell R. Heppenheimer, South Bend, assumed the office of president of the Indiana State Bar Association for 2016-17 at the Association’s fall meeting in Indianapolis. Mitch succeeds Carol M. Adinamis, Westfield, who now will serve as immediate past president on the Association’s 25-member Board of Governors. Andi M. Metzel, Indianapolis, advanced to the office of president-elect, and J. Todd Spurgeon, New Albany, was elected vice president. Michael E. Tolbert, Gary, assumed the office of chair of the ISBA House of Delegates.

 

New officers of the 2016-2017 Board of Governors include:

  • R. William Jonas Jr., Counsel to the President, South Bend
  • E. Spencer Walton Jr., Treasurer, Mishawaka
  • Beau Zoeller, Secretary, Indianapolis

Other new members of the 2016-2017 Board of Governors include:

  • Charles B. Daugherty, Chair-Elect, Young Lawyers Section, Indianapolis
  • Amy N. Dudas, Chair-Elect, House of Delegates, Richmond
  • Rebecca W. Geyer, Sixth District, Carmel
  • Steven S. Hoar, Eighth District, Evansville
  • Jamie M. Oss, Second District, LaPorte
  • Laura Paul, Seventh District, Terre Haute
  • George M. Plews, Eleventh District, Indianapolis
  • Edward D. Thomas Sr., At-Large Rep., Indianapolis
  • Timothy J. Vrana, Ninth District, Columbus
